Iowa State University has established criteria to unify the university's brand across these various platforms. An avatar is a graphical representation of yourself or group for various social media presences. These can be used for various social media accounts like Twitter or Facebook or when posting comments on a discussion forum acting as the voice for your college, group or unit.
