Letterhead

The letterhead design for colleges, departments, and units prominently features the Iowa State nameplate. A slightly different letterhead design is available for university affiliates. Use of the modifier of Science and Technology is optional. To determine whether or not to use the modifier, see the nameplate modifier section of this website. To present a unified appearance, choices regarding use of the modifier, color and paper stock should be applied consistently throughout all stationery used within a unit.

No other logos are permitted on university letterhead. Other logos or graphics detract from the nameplate and dilute the universitys image. Personal names are not appropriate on university letterhead. University stationery may not be used for personal matters or non-university business.
